hadeeth about hajj

Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A): 

The Prophet محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked, "Which is the best deed?" 

He said, "To believe in Allah and His Apostle." 

He was then asked, "Which is the next (in goodness)?"

He said, "To participate in Jihad in Allah's Cause." 

He was then asked, "Which is the next?"

He said, "To perform Hajj−Mabrur. " 

(Sahih Bukhari,chapter 2, hadith no 594)

Fasting on Mondays

it was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said: “The Messenger of Allaah محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.” 
(al-Nasaa’i, 2320; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, 4827).


The Prophet محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked about fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, and he said: “Those are two days on which people’s deeds are shown to the Lord of the Worlds, and I want my deeds to be shown to Him when I am fasting.” 
(al-Nasaa’i, 2358; Ibn Maajah, 1740; Ahmad, 8161; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1583). 


He محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked about fasting on Mondays and he said, “On that day I was born and on that day revelation came to me.” (Muslim, 1162).

Fasting on the day of Arafah & Others

Hunaydah ibn Khaalid narrated upon the authority of his wife who said, "Some of the wives of the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihiwasallam) told me that the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihiwasallam) used to fast the Day of 'Aashoorah, the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, and three days out of every month*."

Yawm-ul-Arafah

The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafat (9th Dhul Hijjah). He said "it expiates the sins of the previous year & the following year.


" Aisha (ra) narrated that the Prophet (saw) said: "there is no day on which Allah frees more people from the fire than the day of Arafat. He comes close &... expresses His pride to the angels saying ''What do these people want?'' (Sahih Muslim)
