Fiqh of eid 3: To go early to pray at musalla by walking there with different routes

‎1a) To pray at the musalla (outdoors) is sunnah and is based upon the hadith of said al-khudri "The prophet (peace be upon him) used to got on the day of fitr and adha to the musulla and the first thing he did when he reached there was to perform the prayer" [Al Bukhari]

1b) Imam ibn hajj al-maliki says "The established sunnah for the prayer of the two eids is to be held in the musalla" [Al Madkhal 2:283]

2a) To take different routes is based upon the hadith narrated by Jabir r) who reported "The prophet (peace be upon him) would take different routes on the day of eid" [Al Bukahri in Mualiq form]

2b) Imam ibn qayyim says "He would take different routes on the day of eid... the wisdom behind this is to greet the people of both routes, so that people of both routes receive blessings from him, to fufill the needs of both routes and to display takbir" [zaad al maad]

3) Ali (r) reports "It is part of the sunnah that you got to the Id walking"
